Workshop: Wild edible foods

Lynn is mostly a self-taught forager but has also followed multiple classes and workshops. She organises guided foraging walks for

wild edible -plants  & -mushrooms.

She loves to learn and teach in her quest to regain and spread forgotten knowledge.

You want to learn:

-What's edible / and what's poisonous?

-Discover a wilder you?

-Connect with nature?

About the tutor

It all started about 7 years ago; about the time when she became interested in living a less waste & plantbased life-style.

Lynn started foraging to be more in line with her values.

What attracts her in foraging is:

  • Connection with nature

  • New flavours / Free & Local food / No packaging

  • The fun adventure of hunting for something

She says:

'It never get’s boring because you’re never done learning.

There is no forager out there who knows it all!

So we all learn from one another which creates community.

Since I started foraging I'm so much more in tune with the seasons and I just love to learn about and share the stories of the interconnection between plants, mushrooms & animals.'

This hobby opened her eyes to see her natural surroundings

(the garden, the forest, the local park) as her new “SUPERmarket”.
